The Plough Inn at Tarrawingee was erected in 1864 by its first licensee, Hopton Nolan. The Plough Inn and also the stables still retain many of their original features. The hotel’s story includes a history of visits by Ned Kelly who used one of the upstairs bedrooms. From this room he could keep a lookout for the local constabulary.
